The settings menu is easy to find in each NordVPN app, either on the left side in desktop apps or at the top via a settings icon in mobile apps. Regardless of the platform, I found navigating the settings simple and easy.

All four apps share the majority of NordVPN’s features. However, split tunneling is one feature that the Windows and Android apps have that macOS and iOS does not. Split tunneling allows you to specify which apps use the VPN to connect to the internet. This is especially useful when streaming or using apps where I need a faster connection.

The ability to combine custom connection settings with shortcuts to specific apps or websites was one feature I appreciated in the macOS app. This gives you secure, one-click access to your connection and optimizes it for specific tasks like streaming or file sharing. It was faster and easier for me than selecting settings manually every time.
